Bukit China is a hillside
graveyard which is located in Melaka. Bukit China was established when Hang Li
Po daughter of the Chinese Ming Emperor was sent to be married to sultan of
Melaka Mansur shah. After marriage they both build their residence on the
hillside and that place was named as Bukit China. After Mansur shah reigns
ended it was officially designated to a Chinese graveyard. Bukit China is the
biggest and oldest Chinese graveyard outside of china itself with over 12500
graves. This old historical graveyard have some creepy story which is a young
lady dressed in white will be roaming at night and some believe that she is the
ghost of Hang Li Po. This graveyard looks very frightening at night and nobody
dares to stay at night. Today this
graveyard has become a jogging park for everyone and this is the creepiest
graveyard that known in Malaysia.
